We've all been there. You type a query into Google or Yahoo, only to be inundated with thousands of options. In this day and age, most of us don’t possess the luxury of having enough time to hack through the answers given to us by a search engine on any given subject.
Askanation.com delivers an alternative answer. PEOPLE.
Knowledge is power. It also makes life that much easier in times of need.
Although a search engine can, for example, find a listed builder in your area, they can't (or won't) tell you if that particular builder is of sound reputation. Search engines don't travel abroad or visit the doctor. They don't keep pets or need their roofs fixed in a hurry. While at times they can be useful, they cannot offer a personal or subjective answer to many of the problems that we face on a day-to-day basis.
In short, with an engine there is no such thing as recommendation, meaningful advice, or experience (positive or otherwise). That is where your local, national and international communities come in.
Askanation seeks to network people across the US as well as other countries, pooling information in order to provide answers to the many problems that we regularly face.
